Colours signpost belonging, allegiance and even the companies you keep.
Sometimes, they also signpost how innovative a company can be, like in this case for StarHub.
We needed to stand out among the marketing clutter on National Day. Imagine having to go to a birthday party with 5 million guests and making sure everyone remembers you. That was the task.
The Idea And The Execution
For National Day, we helped StarHub don a new colour – not just any colour, but that of StarHub’s fiercest competitor, SingTel. A shade that also happens to be our national colour.
StarHub put nation before company. They put aside competition and brought on the celebration. They turned red on National Day and gave Singaporeans something to talk about, something to applaud.
We launched a 60-second commercial featuring the face and CEO of StarHub, Mr. Neil Montefiore, celebrities including Adrian Pang, Hady Mirza, Ken Lim, Ling Kai, Taufik Batisah, and Singaporeans from all walks of life. All united by one colour – red.
Go big or go home until National Day. Our brave clients put out a giant red StarHub logo in The Straits Times and Today on 9 August, National Day.
So let’s put on the colour red, continue the National Day celebration throughout the week, and show the world the Singapore Spirit. Happy National Day, Singapore!
